A stunning 1960’s brilliant cut diamond star ‘sunburst’ brooch dating from around 1960 comprising of approx 1.80ct of diamonds and 0.60ct of blue sapphires. This fabulous brooch, measuring 36mm in diameter is set in 18ct gold with a silver front, in a typical Victorian Revival style. Its design is formed around a central diamond set seven pointed star which is surmounted to a larger sixteen pointed body, with each point alternating between a diamond set and a sapphire tipped point. It can be worn as either a brooch or as a pendant giving it added versatility. There is very little wear to the brooch and it’s in excellent condition.
