A pretty Edwardian antique turquoise and pearl cluster ring set in 18 karat rose gold. This ring would have been more than likely a love token. The turquoise denotes ‘forget me not’ taken from the tiny flower of the same hue. Ten small pearls represented Venus the goddess of love, so these two combined aspects revealed were love and forever. This combination of turquoise and pearl was common throughout the Victorian and Edwardian period, with many rings, bracelets, pendants and earrings being produced using these gemstones, in great proliferation. The Victorians, then Edwardians enjoyed a love of sentimental jewelry sharing these coded messages, to the delight of the sweethearts.
 
The head of the cluster using pearls and turquoise lies flat with little to catch, so this is very practical style to possess.
