A beautiful Arts and Crafts sterling silver gem set brooch to include amethyst, peridot, moonstone and pearl. Dating from circa 1900 the cross of crucifix form has a centra peridot and pearl cluster from which the four points of the cross emanate. At each end we see amethyst and moonstone detailing along with typical cursive and naturalistic motifs to the silver body which were common during the Arts and Crafts movement. A fabulous piece of antique jewellery history. The chain is included in the sale.
