A solid, 9ct rose gold antique early 20th century Albert chain with alternating curved trombone and round uniform links with a T-bar. Every link is stamped ‘9' '375', the two swivel clips and t-bar are also marked along with the makers mark. The Albert chain can be dated to circa 1900-1915.
Weighing in at 51.9g and measuring 15” or 380mm long the chain is a rare example with many similar chains having been scrapped for the gold. Traditionally worn as a watch chain suspending a pocket watch, Albert chains can also be worn as necklaces and used to suspend charms and pendants. This piece also acts a great investment piece which can also be worn!
