A solid, 15 karat gold vintage Albert chain with a fancy trombone and ball link along with a fancy twist T-bar which is also 15ct gold. There is no date mark present but '15ct' and makers mark of 'W.H.W' to the swivel clasp remain. The jump ring and swivel clasp remain in excellent, working order. The piece most likely dates from the Edwardian period 1901-1910.
Weighing in at 26.5g and measuring 18” or 450mm long the chain is a fine example and the intricate design of the links makes it a little more unique than many other curb or simple link Alberts. Traditionally worn as a watch chain suspending a pocket watch, Albert chains can also be worn as necklaces and used to suspend charms and pendants. This piece also acts a great investment piece which can also be worn!
