A fabulous early 20th century 1ct oval blue sapphire and 1ct transitional cut diamond halo cluster ring, set in 18ct gold dating from circa 1910. The central set oval sapphire is a deep, violet blue and is rub over set and is surrounded by 10 hand set transitional cut diamonds totalling 0.1ct each which complete the timeless 'Princess Diana' style halo to full effect. The gallery is beautifully carved adding that extra sign of quality to the ring. Overall a delightful Edwardian antique ring that would make for a truly unique engagement piece.
