Edwardian gold Initial Onyx Signet Ring
A statement Edwardian 9ct gold onyx ring dating from the early 20th century with an ornate 'R' initial in blackletter typeface to the centre. Set in a rectangular head the large (possibly gentlemen’s) ring has a beautifully hand carved gold letter ‘R’ inlayed to a black onyx base. The shank is nicely detailed with split, curve motifs that further accentuate the period charm of this antique ring.
