A solid, 9ct rose gold antique Edwardian Albert chain with graduated round curb links and a T-bar. Every link is stamped ‘9' '375', the two swivel clips and t-bar are also marked along with the makers mark. The Albert chain can be dated to circa 1914 in Birmingham, UK with the date letter still visible.
Weighing in at 41g and measuring 15” or 385mm long the chain is a fine example with very little wear to the links despite its age. Traditionally worn as a watch chain suspending a pocket watch, Albert chains can also be worn as necklaces and used to suspend charms and pendants. This piece also acts as a great investment piece which can also be worn!
