The perfect Albert chain, this heavy and long 9ct rose gold antique Victorian Albert chain with alternating trombone & round uniform links is the dream trombone link antique chain. Every link is stamped ‘9C’ and the t-bar is marked ‘9.375’ along with makers make ‘WL’ for William Lewis of Birmingham dating the chain to the early 20th century circa 1910. The chain has one spring loaded, swivel 'dog' clasp and one round spring loaded jump ring both of which are in full working order.

Weighing a hefty 47.2 grams and measuring 19.5” or 500mm long and 4.5mm wide the chain is a rare example with many similar chains having been melted down. Traditionally worn as a watch chain suspending a pocket watch, Albert chains can also be worn as necklaces and used to suspend charms and pendants.
