A wonderful Victorian 15ct gold fob seal that has the masterfully carved name Caroline to its amethyst base and dates from circa 1880. The body of the seal of ornate design has all its delighting intact with fine cursive and applied filigree styling visible. The oval, faceted amethyst base is a a delightful lavender purple and the engraving remains in excellent condition with the black letter style typography so typical of the period. A perfect gift idea or addition to a collectors collection.
