A fabulous pair of Dutch Victorian 14ct yellow gold fine filigree drop earrings with articulated, chain link tassels dating from circa 1880. The very fine filigree and cannetille work is evidence of a master jeweller the technique demands an exceptionally high level of precision from the craftsman. With the Dutch oak leaf hallmark (1852-1906) present we can assess that these earrings would have been first worn toward the end of the 19th century and have so much character and charm. A rare and very wearable pair of antique gold earrings perfect for everyday wear and also more formal occasions.
