A delightfully dainty and rare Victorian 9ct gold fob seal that has a masterfully carved forget me not engraved into a shield chalcedony base. The body of the fob has deeply chased panels with a lyre motif at its centre and a small loop to its peak ideal for suspending from fine chains or clasps. HALLMARK – Unmarked, tested throughout as 9ct gold using touchstone.
CONDITION – In very good condition commensurate with age and use. The amethyst is unshipped and the carved fly/insect remains in excellent condition with a lld detail present. The gold work, slightly rub and worn, remains solid.
