A splendid antique, Victorian 9ct gold on silver, pavé set rose cut diamond and cabochon ruby fox mask stick pin. Dating from the later part of the 19th century the fox was used to symbolise cleverness, playfulness, beauty and protection and were often seen adorning attires of equestrian enthusiasts. The foxes profile is well balanced with an accurate depiction of a true foxes head. A great antique stick pin for animal lovers and collectors alike.
