A splendid vintage 18ct white gold Boodles ring set with the finest quality round faceted ruby and round faceted sapphire both in a rubbed over setting, made in 1977. Encircled by small single cut diamonds in a plaque design, there are further diamonds on the shoulders of the ring. Both ruby and sapphire have very good colour and saturation for these corundum gemstones which is to be expected from Boodles who have been established since 1798. Inscribed ‘Boodles’ with their makers mark too, a sparkling ring reminiscent of the Art Deco era with a modern twist.
